On January 31 2018, at the closing conference of the project "Strengthening the role of the civil society in ensuring the equality and quality in pre-school education, upbringing and care", the European initiative Eurydice and the opportunities of the Erasmus+ program were presented.

The conference was attended by a large number of representatives from kindergartens, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the European Delegation, educational institutions working in the field of preschool education and civil society organizations.

On January 24 and 25, 2019, in the new premises of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility, two workshops for Key Action 102 - Mobility of students and staff / employees in the field of vocational education and training took place.

On January 29, 2019, in the premises of the multimedia center Kanal 77 in Stip, an event organized by CNVP Building a Greener Economic Environment was held, attended by representatives of the National Agency for European Programs and Mobility Mr. Jovica Mitevski, from the Department for Strategic Partnerships in the field of youth and Structural Dialogue, Mr. Aleksandar Bogojevski, from the Department for Mobility in higher education, training and youth and Ms. Martina Najdoski, from the Department for Mobility in the area of vocational and school education.

The event was attended by scholars from the region of Eastern Macedonia, students, representatives from primary and secondary schools, representatives from the NGO sector, representatives from higher education institutions, as well as representatives from the municipalities.

Representatives from the National Agency shared more information on the opportunities and benefits that are part of the Erasmus Plus program in the field of school and higher education and in the field of youth.

Public discussion: "Why a law for youth is necessary"

On January 30, 2019, in the "Park Residence" hotel in Skopje, a public discussion took place on the topic "Why the law for youth is necessary".

This event is part of a series of public consultations at the national level that are organized with young people and other stakeholders who are actively involved in the creation and implementation of youth policies.

The event is supported by the Progress Institute for Social Democracy and the Kalevi Sorsa Foundation from Finland.

The public discussion was conducted by Marija Merkovska, Progress Institute for Social Democracy, and speakers of the discussion were:

 • Darko Kajevski, President of SDMM;

 • Jovan Joleski, UMS VMRO-DPMNE;

 • Kushtrim Ala, Youth Forum of DUI;

 • Blazen Maleski, President of NMSM.

On January 25, the Bulgarian Ambassador to the Republic of Macedonia, Mr. Angel Angelov, at his request, visited the new premises of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility and met with the Director, Ms. Lidija Dimova.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed for a deeper cooperation between the Macedonian and the Bulgarian National Agency.

The Bulgarian Ambassador, Mr. Angel Angelov, introduced the Director Dimova about the purpose of the Bulgarian bilateral assistance for the Republic of Macedonia, which was put into function of the European integration of Macedonia for the following target groups:

The Director of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility, Ms. Lidija Dimova, today attended the initial conference to mark the start of the three-year project "All for Research and Development".

This is a capacity-building project obtained by the Executive Agency for Education, Culture and Audiovisual Policy in Brussels.

This is a partnership project between the Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia, which is the project's holder, then the Faculty of Civil Engineering at UKIM and the construction faculties from Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Finland and Austria.

NA hosted the second meeting of the international project Tracer Study of VET Mobility Participants


On 14-th of September 2018, the second meeting of the Tracer Study of VET Mobility Participants project was held in Skopje. The host and organizer of the event was the National Agency for European Educational Programme and Mobility, and with participation of the national agencies of Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Belgium and the United Kingdom. Representatives of the national agencies of Spain, Luxembourg and Ireland participated actively in the event through a video conference call.

The goal of the project under the leadership of the Polish National Agency is to assess the impact of mobility/training in vocational education and training on the further career and professional development of the participants in these mobilities, with emphasis on the Erasmus + mobility at the international level.

Using ECVET for long-duration mobility

Within the annual work program, the ECVET secretariat organized an annual ECVET Forum on June 14-15.05.2018 in Sofia, Bulgaria

Representatives of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility of the Republic of Macedonia took part in the work of the forum.

The Annual ECVET Forum 2018 was dedicated to the topic of ‘Using ECVET for long-duration mobility’.

In 2017, the European Commission launched ‘ErasmusPro’, a new dedicated activity within the Erasmus+ programme to support long-duration (3-12 months) mobility, in particular placements of apprentices abroad. ErasmusPro has opened up the possibility for 50,000 additional young people to spend at least 3 months of their training in another Member State in the period 2017-2020.

Evaluation results for КА105, KA205 and KA347 actions - round 3 in 2016

The National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility announces the results of the evaluation of the applications submitted for KA105, KA205 and KA347 round 3 for 2016. Out of 45 received application, 9 applications in total for the threee actions has been awarded with grant, requesting in total EUR151,288.00.

PROGRAMME GUIDE 2016 HAS BEEN UPDATED: to address issues around social cohesion, and the integration of refugees and migrants

Following on from a series of initiatives to tackle the current refugee crisis announced by the European Commission, the Erasmus+ programme will have a clearer focus on supporting refugees and other marginalised groups in 2016.


The European Commission has recently launched two new webpages for Erasmus+ on this topic:
