The National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility is a Public Institution established by a Law adopted by the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia.
The goal of the National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility is to work on the promotion and implementation of European programs in the field of education, training, youth and sports in the Republic of Macedonia.
By implementing these programs, the National Agency contributes to the development of the community as a society based on advanced knowledge, with sustainable economic development, more and better jobs and greater social cohesion, while providing environmental protection for future generations and especially exchange, cooperation and mobility in the field of education and training.
Beneficiaries of the programs can be: pupils, students, teachers, teacher trainers and other staff involved in any part of the educational process, companies and other legal entities, including companies, chambers of commerce and other associations of legal entities in the field. of industry, research centers and bodies as well as citizens' associations and foundations.
The former European programs "Lifelong Learning" and "Youth in Action" in the Republic of Macedonia were implemented by the National Agency in the period from 2008 to 2013, and from 2014 the activities from the actions within these programs are transferred to the new Erasmus + program.
Erasmus + is the name of the new program that unites EU programs for education, training, youth and sports in the period 2014-2020.
