Network name: Eurodesk
Network Description:
Eurodesk is a European youth information network created in 1990. As an Erasmus+ support organization, Eurodesk makes learning mobility information comprehensive and accessible to young people and those who work with them. With a network of 38 Eurodesk centers connected to over 1,500 local information providers in 36 European countries, Eurodesk raises awareness of European opportunities and encourages young people to become active citizens. Eurodesk brings together over 1,500 local youth information providers, so-called "multipliers and ambassadors", which are regional or local organizations working with young people to provide youth information and advise young people on mobility opportunities. To ensure the quality of services in all 36 countries, Eurodesk offers its members quality training, as well as support and access to youth information services and tools.
Eurodesk is a European network that provides free and verified information on youth mobility opportunities. Mobility in this sense means exchanging and longer or shorter stays for formal or non-formal education in a foreign country. In addition to providing mobility information, Eurodesk also promotes active citizenship and youth policy development.
Network goals:
Eurodesk's mission is to raise awareness among young people about mobility opportunities and to encourage them to become active citizens.
Eurodesk supports the implementation and promotes various mobility programmes, including two major European programmes: Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.
By searching https://eurodesk.eu/ you can find all the information related to mobility for learning, volunteering, internship, youth participation, and grants (which are usually awarded to organizations, not individuals) whether you are a young person or a youth worker.
Eurodesk feature finder https://programmes.eurodesk.eu/learning is Eurodesk's main tool that provides the first, verified, and basic information about the various programmes and opportunities available to young people in Europe.
The search is divided into options related to the purpose of mobility: learning, volunteering, internships, youth participation, grants - more related to organizations.
In each of these options, mobility opportunities are presented in the form of cards where you can find out the basic information about the programme, what is its essence, what to expect on that mobility and the official website of the programme, application deadline, countries from which young people can participate and in which countries it is possible to realize the given mobility.
The European Youth Portal https://europa.eu/youth/home_en has recently been redesigned and is available in 27 languages with all the possibilities and information initiatives for studying, volunteering, and working in Europe and beyond.
By searching for the Go abroad card and the option for volunteering, studying, working, and traineeships, you can find available information about studying, volunteering, working and internship, there is also a list of organizations in charge of sending and receiving volunteers, a list of volunteer projects, and the search is possible by a given country, time, topics according to which the programme is implemented.
The Traveling card contains useful information and resources that can help you organize your trip easier and better, and the stories contain inspiring and interesting stories about mobility experiences.
From the European Initiatives, in addition to Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps, you can learn more about virtual exchanges, as well as the Discover EU program, which will be available to young people aged 18 through the Erasmus+ programme.
