Based on Decision No. 18-65/2 of 23.01.2026, the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility announce:
OPEN CALL FOR ADDITIONS TO THE POOL OF EXTERNAL EXPERTS FOR ASSESSING PROJECT PROPOSALS AND/OR PERIODICAL OR FINAL REPORTS FOR APPROVED PROJECTS, INCLUDING APPLICATIONS FOR ACCREDITATIONS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ERASMUS PLUS PROGRAMME (2021-2027) AND EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS (2021-2027)
The National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility (NAEEPM) is a public institution founded by law and has the competence for operational implementation of the decentralised actions of the Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps in the Republic of North Macedonia.
Erasmus+ is a European programme in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport for the period 2021-2027. Education, training, youth, and sport are the key aspects that support the citizens in their personal and professional growth. Inclusive education and high-quality training, including informal and non-formal learning, equip the young with the qualifications and skills required for their active participation in a democratic society, intercultural understanding, and successful transition into the labour market.

For the purpose of quality and transparent work and evaluation, NAEEPM announces an open call for additions to the pool of external experts for assessing project proposals and/or periodical or final reports for approved projects, including applications for accreditations within the framework of the Erasmus Plus programme (2021-2027) and the European Solidarity Corps (2021-2027) for:

Requirements for selection of external experts:
The role of external experts is crucial in enabling a correct, impartial, consistent, and accurate assessment of project proposals and/or periodical and final reports in accordance with the objectives of the action and the priorities of education, training, youth, and sport policies.

Application and required documents for applying:
Applications must be submitted electronically to the following address: eksperti2026erasmus@na.org.mk with subject line: Call for Experts 2026, by February 10, 2026 at the latest.
Applicants will get a confirmation email that their application has been received.
External experts’ received applications will undergo a review of the open call conditions based on the submitted documents. The selection of the received applications will be carried out in the following stages:
Selected experts must undergo the expert training organised by NAEEPM, for which they will be notified in a timely manner, and will also receive the Guides for External Experts and other necessary documents for their work.
NAEEPM will conclude an individual framework agreement with each selected expert for the programming period 2023-2027. The framework agreement will define the tasks and obligations, deadlines, and the financial support depending on the scope of their work.
Compensation
The compensation amount includes:
NAEEPM, in accordance with the actual necessities, the number of received applications and the availability of external experts, will engage a certain number of experts during the implementation of the Erasmus+ programme. NAEEPM reserves the right to contact external experts from the database in the following years during the duration of the Erasmus+ programme. Experts are subject to regular evaluation of the quality of their work. Payment will be made after a quality-accomplished arrangement is determined.
Applicants will be informed promptly of the selection process results. Rejected applicants have the right to appeal within 8 days of receiving the notification from NAEEPM.
Note: This is an open call and will be updated annually or if needed throughout the year in accordance with the scope of work and number of applications.
General measures to prevent corruption
The National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility, in the open call for additions to the pool of external experts for assessing project proposals and/or periodical or final reports for approved projects, including applications for accreditations within the framework of the Erasmus Plus programme (2021-2027) and European Solidarity Corps (2021-2027), will take all necessary measures to promptly detect corruption and eliminate or reduce its harmful consequences.
